Officer Tim Lamb spoke on the safety precautions that can be taken to inhibit or prevent identity theft. He also focused on other personal-security issues particularly important to seniors and to health-care sufferers.
Officer Lamb described strategies for safety in the personal documents and materials the typical person carries with them in public. He talked about securing your social security number from theft, and how to overcome the need for carrying a number of personal identity documents that can compromise your financial security if stolen.
The Officer had many humorous anecdotes from his time on the police force and described the many "cons" which are pursued by thieves in their efforts to steal. He also talked about the much more serious side about personal safety and how to handle "con-artists" who have targetted an individual.
